Fight Science With Wood

There is a sign that never goes away, inscribed into the walls of the residential tunnels of RIT.

It proclaims for all to see: "I'm going to fight science with wood!"

Facilities Management repeatedly repaints over it, and yet someone puts it back up in black in short order.
